Here is a collection of some of the questions that we get asked on a regular basis

What is Malware?

Malware, or malicious software, is a blanket term used to describe any piece of computer software which directly acts against the computer user with malicious intent. This can include computer viruses, worms, Trojan horses, ransomware, spyware, adware, and scareware.

The purpose of Malware can vary by design, but in general, malware is used to either disrupt computer usage, gain access to user information, or to extort money from a computer user. Malware can come from many different sources including “drive-by downloads” from visiting websites, downloading infected programs, clicking social media links to infected websites, and email attachments.

Can Macs get Malware?

Yes, even Mac computers can get Malware.

In fact, in a study from a leading computer security firm completed in the first quarter of 2017, Mac malware infections grew by over 744% over the previous year.

Do you provide Remote Support?

Yes, through our Protect Me service we have the ability for creating a remote session

You can navigate to the site here. From here we can walk you through downloading the software for your version of OS and then start our session from there. In some cases where we need to have the system brought in for evaluation.

Do you offer Cloud Backup?

For our Business Clients we do offer cloud backup services. For our non business customers we have partnered up with a company called BackBlaze. They offer unlimited data backup on each computer including external hard drives. Each computer would be billed separately

Do you build Custom PCs?

Yes! We absolutely love the value you can get from a custom built PC. We have built many custom PC systems for our customers for general use, video and photo editing, and gaming.
